Talking Cave Rescue on Rescue Net Tonight
Each week a number of hams meet for a net on the Keller Peak Repeater on 146.385 (+) repeater in Southern California. Led by net control, Mike Ward, they discuss a number of rescue-related topics. 3rd Call This Weekend
We just got cancelled from our 3rd call this weekend. This time we nearly made it to the command post at Schoepe Scout Reservation. SD located the hiker by air, so they cancelled the folks enroute. Missing Hiker Near Schoepe Scout Reservation
My team has just been called to assist San Deigo County SAR in the search for a missing 38 year old make hiker. He was due back at 1300 hours yesterday and has not been seen since. SD has been working it since yesterday. More later.
