Talking Cave Rescue on Rescue Net Tonight
Each week a number of hams meet for a net on the Keller Peak Repeater on 146.385 (+) repeater in Southern California. Led by net control, Mike Ward, they discuss a number of rescue-related topics. These topics span all facets of search and rescue, and this week the topic was cave rescue. It was fun spending an hour with the crew discussing the issues associated with cave rescue. I can’t hit the repeater from La Mesa, but I was able to participate via EchoLink. Questions covered a variety of issues from airborne disease to communication challenges.
