Fire Cancels Recertification
Our MRA technical rope recertification was canceled due to the fires. Roads to our location are closed and one of the teams and a few of the evaluators are busy with fire duties. That’s the nature of SAR. The reason we have to make up the cert was because we had a search during the regular certification last March. And so it goes…
It seems that San Bernardino County is fire-free at the moment. We shouldn’t be called into action for fire duty.
My in-laws are pretty close to the fire in Orange County. Below is a link to a useful map.
